Pre Trip Preparation: Tuesday, November 18, 2008

As usual getting ready to leave for any trip is a little crazy and this was no exception. There are so many details to think of that you are bound to forget a few. But as my philosophy goes…you are always going to forget something, so just make the best of it.

At school I passed out the research papers (yea no papers to grade on the trip), got updated grades out, finished writing two recommendation letters, had an hour-long conference call with Becca, and end from CSPA and Crystal, prepared for the extended leadership and then let the meeting where we agreed to spend over $30,000.

Sue came in at about 1:30 and Robert got lost picking her up. He got all the way to Ikea before he realized he was going the wrong way.

I got home from school at about six (Robert had to come and pick me up) and made all the final preparations. I couldn't find my watch, my small wallet, my camera battery charger, but in the end all were found. The last thing I got was the bubble wrap in case Ibring home some Piemonte treats.

We had brats for dinner at Robert's request and we all hung out watching NCIS and then Dancing with the Stars. Robert actually watched most of Dancing with us. It was a great blessing.
